This is a little webpage dedicated to the cycling trip I did around my little country of Éire. I started and finished my trip in Dublin. In between, I visited many towns and villages and got to know my country a little bit better.
Some towns and areas I'd never been in before. An Rinn, I'd never even heard of and it's so nice. I'd never been to Glengarriff and everywhere in Cork really, it's so far from my home in Donegal that it's not surprising I don't know it that well.
I visited some of the islands around the south-west including Cape Clear and Valencia Island. I missed out on the Aran Islands and Tory but no doubt I'll see them sometime soon.
I camped out at some great beaches, from Kinsale to Buncrana. I'd have to give my vote for the best beach in Ireland to Inch beach in Dingle (or An Daingean or whatever they're calling it these days).
I made it from Mizen Head to Malin Head.
I visited all the cities. I only knew one city very well - Dublin. The rest of them Galway, Cork, Limrick, and Belfast I'd only ever been in a handful of times.
I went to some rough areas in Derry and Belfast but the majority of places were quiet and friendly.
